The setting was as California as the message. The exhibit used two 10×50-foot spaces across the aisle from each other. Ordinarily that would chop the two spaces apart. But with permission from IPW, the show aisle carpet was replaced with carpet that integrated the two spaces. Then the design went a step further and curved the carpet creating a winding path rather than a straight line. The feeling was that of outdoor California cafés lining a “street” — bathed in sunlight and sparkling clean.
